Marketing Software Reviews

No matter where you are at in with promoting your business online, there are so many amazing tools that can help build and scale your business, save you time and automate important activities.

Your goal should be to only use the tools that enable you to stay focused on your business and your goals and not the ones that look like they “might help” and “look really cool” but go unused.  Remember there is definitely a learning curve to all tools and that alone can be the biggest hurdle for many business owners.

Here, I’ll explain each type of tool, offer the names of specific tools, their pricing, features and pros/cons and at what stage of your business you might consider using it.  Let me know if you have any questions.

While I know it might be initially easier to use Wix or Squarespace, I would strongly recommend, you put the time, effort and a little bit more money into building a wordpress site for your coaching business.

A wordpress site has the most flexibility and compatibility with other tools and will grow with you as coaching business grows.  There are a few steps you’ll have to take but I’ll walk you through it and I’ll also share where to find many affordable resources that can help you launch and manage a basic wordpress site.

You can get started with one of the free wordpress themes or you can shop for a theme which is essentially a template that already has the pages and features you’ll want to showcase your coaching business.  There are thousands for wordpress themes that have been developed for specific industries.

Purchase a Domain / Hosting

WordPress required a domain and hosting, so I recommend Bluehost.

Bluehost is both reputable and known for being a WordPress friendly hosting provider.  They have great customer service and you can easily install wordpress in one-click. When you sign up for hosting you are given a domain listing for the first year free and subsequent years are typically $14.95.
